I am not much of a bird watcher and so I am not sure if I should describe these brooches as swooping swallows or kissing doves, but one thing is certain, they are fab! In a choice of 16 colours, ranging from muted hues to more vibrant shades, they measure approx 7cm by 3.5cm and are 0.5cm thick.
When my sister and I were about eleven years old, my mum said we could have a dog if we passed all of our exams at school. Well, we did pass them all, but instead of getting a dog we got a canary and we called him Twiggy! These gorgeous brooches are named after our pet canary who lived to the ripe old age of fifteen!
